Stress Relief Essential Resources

 

What would life be like for you if you weren't stressed all the time?

What would you be thinking, saying, doing, or believing differently?

Have you wondered who you would be then instead of who you are being now?

Here's what I know now after recognizing and recovering from secondary traumatic stress, rebuilding my resilience, and restoring and maintaining a state of physical, mental, and emotional balance.

Achieving permanent stress relief is a process that occurs in three phases which include preparation, transformation, and automation.

There are four key ingredients  essential to achieve long term stress relief success.

First, you'll need a vision of who you will be when you are stress free.

Second, you'll need a plan with strategies that are proven and guaranteed  to achieve the stress relief results you want.

Third, you must believe that you can and will achieve what you want. The old saying "whether you believe you can or believe you can't you are right" applies here.

Finally, you'll need to execute your plan successfully long enough until your brain automates your new stress relief pattern. It's what I refer to with my clients as the "See It...Believe It....Be It"  other wise known as "Fake It Until You Make It" Formula for success. Your brain can't tell the difference and that's really important. 

Our greatest asset as well as our # 1 saboteur is our brain. The brain creates autopilot programs all day long every day while we're busy doing life. In fact, your brain created that "I feel stressed out, overworked, and overwhelmed" autopilot program without your permission. 

AND....if your head and heart are not aligned with your vision...you're brain will continue to play your old "I'm stressed, overworked, overwhelmed"  autopilot program on a loop and you'll keep telling yourself (and believing) you've tried everything and nothing works. 

Just ask my "Nurse Brain," the part of me that refused to listen when my heart constantly  whispered "slow down, take some time to rest, you can't keep going like this" and I listened to "Nurse Brain" and kept going.
